Scheduled Zoom Call and Presentation Virtual session featuring a formal presentation on some of the unique opportunities and practices afforded within informal science education–particularly among family groups, mixed age groups, and planned field trips. Presentation materials would be targeted to your organization or institution.
In-Person Training Event A hands-on workshop for educators hosted in your space that highlights multiple specific learning opportunities. Activities would progress from modeling specific opportunities and practices for your target audience to notice scientific phenomena, to having teams practice and if time allows, providing feedback as teams brainstorm additional opportunities and plan relevant questions and supplemental activities for specific spaces, exhibits, or programs.
Educational Support Materials Tailoring educational support materials including (1) in-the-moment guiding questions as well as (2) extension activities that continue the learning experiences in ways that inspire learners of all ages and abilities to see themselves as part of the scientific community.
Examples of these materials could include aligned activity guides, take-home learning kits, and resources to connect families and educators to online resources that can extend learning beyond their visit and build bridges between the in-house experiences and their everyday life experiences.

I collaborate closely with curators, designers, educators, and leadership to ensure that each evaluation is actionable, aligned with your mission, and contributes to the continued success of your exhibitions.
